Here's the story on this one. I bought this car a year ago with 118,000 miles as my long distance car. Yes, I call it my long distance car because I use it to travel from state to state. This car has never give me any problem, I just make sure I change my oil every 3,000 miles. The engine runs strong with no problems. The body has some rust on the 3rd door (trunk) and a few bumper scratches. There's a little dent on the passenger side door but it's not noticeable. The car is still being driven and I'm debating whether I should sell it. When I purchased the car I replaced the starter brand new from Volkswagon and bought a brand new Optima battery for it. The car start right away every time you turn the key. The car pick up on speed really fast with no problem. About six month ago I put 2 brand new Falken tire in the front and the rear tires are also in great condition. This car will make a great classic GTI and someone wants to make it a project. It can also be use as a nice daily driven car. This car does not have power window but the sunroof is powered, I don't know why but that's way VW made them.
