Car does show wear and tear, including scratches on the sides and bumper, worn seats, etc. It is 11 years old with 140,000 miles on it and I would say its condition is age appropriate. - the A/C does not blow cold air. It did a few months ago but does not currently. I do not know exactly what is wrong the the A/C. This vehicle is sold as-is with no implied or intended warranty or guarantee. We brought it to CarMax and Enterprise Car Sales to get inspections and offers. Enterprise made the higher offer of $1600. The car must sell by Saturday AM. We are leaving on Monday, so the car will be sold to Enterprise if it does not sell on eBay before then. Starting bid is $100 higher than Enterprise offer to offset costs of eBay transaction and listing fees. Email with any questions. I can certainly appreciate your concerns, especially considering the fact that you would be purchasing the vehicle from a distance, sight unseen. I have been in the same situation as you a number of times and have purchased my last three vehicles over eBay. I actually just sold my 2005 infiniti Q45 through eBay two months ago. This Jeep has been my fiancee's daily driver for the last 8 or 9 years. She just got a promotion that came with a company car, so the Jeep has been sitting in our driveway getting very little use for the last few weeks. To answer some of your questions (to the best of my ability)... - the accident was a 5-10 mph fender bender. My fiancee was answering a call on her cell phone and bumped into the car in front of her that was stopped at a red light. There was minimal damage to either vehicle. It has had no effect on the driving quality of the jeep. - The engine was replaced three summers ago by Caruso Jeep in Jacksonville. I do not have any pictures. The transmission was not changed. We might be able to dig up the credit card receipts for the transactions, but I cannot promise anything. I am fairly certain that any warranty that came with the new engine is now expired. There have been no problems with the engine since replacement. I wish I could give you a clearer set of answers, but she did not keep very good records for the car. While I keep receipts for every oil change or service done on my cars, my fiancee does not do the same for her vehicles. Having said that, the car is in average condition. The pictures were taken yesterday, 10 minutes prior to posting the vehicle on eBay. They are accurate and show the condition of the vehicle, including any damage on the outside. I believe the Jeep is valued at close to $3,000 in average condition on KBB and other sites. Whoever buys this jeep will be getting a good deal, but I am not implying that it is in 'like-new' condition.
