You are bidding on a 99 9-3 convertible it is in need of some repairs but is a very nice looking solid rustfree car.The car will most likely need a head gasket the plastic side of the radiator has a crack in it and the previous owner stated that he ran it hot a few times.The car will start and run after about a full minute of cranking. I start it once a week to keep the fuel fresh and things working.I bought this car for a project fixer upper but I just had to put over 2000 into my wifes car for maint and ac repair so I no longer have the extra money to put into this car it has just been in my garage wasting space for about 6months.The clutch and transmission feel very good,the top is in decent condition with glass rear window with defroster the power works as do the power windows,the tires are in great shape.The radiator is on ebay for less than a hundred dollars and the head gasket set for around a hundred if you can do the work or get a good deal on labor you will have a very nice little car for little money.The paint on the hood is in poor condition but the rest looks very good there are some scratches on the trunklid looks like someone had a bike carrier on it at some point, there is a dent in pass rear panel as seen in photo.Gets outstanding gas mileage and is very fun to drive.My opening bid is less than the power top motor and ecu are worth not to mention the abs pump which is working and worth alot of money.The body looks good with usual scratches and a few dings the interior needs some tlc the carpet is very dirty and the drivers seat is cracked back has a crack as seen in photos but the dash and the rest of interior looks good.The previous owner stated the ac was not currently working but he replaced the compressor less than two years ago.The knobs for the climate control are stripped and the sids display is missing pixels.The valve cover gasket is leaking the drivers fog light lens is missing and the headlight has a crack.This is about all I know about the car since I bought it in current condition but am happy to answer any questions this would make a great fixer or parts car for the price its hard to go wrong there are many valuable parts on this car.I have a clear open georgia title still in previous owners name because in sc you need to bring the car to the dmv to change title so they can do a vin verification and I was not going to drive it with no coolant all the way there.Feel free to email me with any questions thanks for looking.On Aug-09-11 at 10:27:09 PDT, seller added the following information:To anwser a few questions the car will need to be towed it does run but the coolant leaks out too fast to drive for any sort of distance.The title I have is clear autocheck says it was issued a salvage title back in 02 I was unaware of this but does not change my discription or price just wanted bidders to be aware.I see nothing unuual about the car and it has run for ten years and 170000 since then so whatever it was obviously does not effect the looks or drivability of the car.On Aug-14-11 at 09:47:21 PDT, seller added the following information:Please carefully read discription and read questions at the bottom before bidding.Thanks
