Hello, I am selling our 1999 Honda Accord LX. This has been a great car for us. My wife has been using it for the last few years to commute to/from work. It mainly has highway miles on it. The engine was replaced 3 years ago with a low mileage engine. All work was done by a Honda tech. It's all stock, no performance pieces have been added and nothing has been modified. The radio was replaced with a Sony CD player that has front Ipod connection. It has power locks, power windows, power steering, power brakes, and a power moonroof. This car has dings and scratches that would be commonly found on a car of this age. It is still in very good condition overall. About a week ago, the transmission would no longer shift into reverse. All forward gears/park/neutral work fine. I've been told that it could be something as simple as a bad shift or lock-up solenoid on the transmission but have not had it inspected by a shop. Worse case, it would need a new transmission installed. Our local junk yard has them for $400. We got a new car so no longer need this one and don't want to invest any more money into it. Air conditioning blows cold and the heat is hot. We've still been using the car even without reverse (park on the street, get a parking spot you can pull through, etc) The car is located about 20 miles north of Cincinnati, OH.
