Rare Vintage 1971 Suzuki TC-90 Street/Trail bike This bike was in storage for about 20 years. I pulled it out last year, cleaned it and got it running, then had it inspected by the CHP and got a new title and registration. It is 100% original, and in remarkable shape. 4216 original miles. It has only been ridden once to the DMV and the CHP since 1988. Hear it run http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8mfT_uiH7F8 I put new tires on it, replaced the battery, and repainted the battery box and chain guard. The chain has been lubed and adjusted. The paint is original, as is the saddle. It is street legal, and all the electrical works. Since it was sitting in storage for so long, it has predictable issues: the carburetor could use a good cleaning, and the interior of the tank has some light surface rust which should be treated. The plastic oil tank has a repaired outlet tube. The crankcase oil needs to be changed, and it would be a good idea to do a thorough tuneup and get a new air filter. The only other things it is missing are the toolkit and the knob ends of the brake levers, which were removed before I got it. The chrome is all in good condition, and only has some light surface rust in a couple places, but no pitting. There is a very slight crease in the tank, about an inch long and not deep enough to measure. It’s barely visible in the picture of the left side of the tank. The forks probably need new seals, and there is a scratch on the front fender. It is currently registered California Non-op because I didn’t want to insure it, which means no test rides if you are local.
