Vehicle Detail
For sale is a 1989 Lincoln Town Car. The vehicle is in excellent shape outside and inside. The vehicle has 11,500 ORIGINAL MILES on it, and has the 5.0V8 engine. It has tan cloth interior, no stains, tears, etc. The paint looks great. The vehicle has been garage kept since it was purchased. My grandmother bought this car, gave it to my mother, and now I have it, making me the third owner. It has been sitting untouched in a garage for a while, however, I put a new battery in it and it started right up. I took the vehicle and had the oil changed, filters checked etc. I also took it to a transmission shop(see details below) and Maxi Muffler to have everything checked out on the vehicle. I have had the entire car inspected and everything is working properly except for the radio. You can see by the pictures the car is in excellent shape, and would be a good vehicle for someone who enjoys Lincolns. I will require a $500 deposit within 24hrs. of auction ending to my PayPal. The remaining balance can be paid through PayPal, or cashier's check upon pick-up of the vehicle, which I will meet you at a bank. As you can see, it's nice all over. There are two spots on the car, one on the inside of the hood, and the other on the passenger door. Both pretty small, but I took them very close so you could see. Also, you can see the Owners Manual with my grandmothers name on it, and some other services she had, such as rust-protecting the car in '91. I wanted to put more pictures up, but that is all I could put on eBay. You can see how clean the door jams are, as well as under the car. The temp light outside of the car lights up, as well as all marker lights. This car was really taken car of by her. If you have any questions, or would like more pictures, please email me at lex@electriccowboy.com If you email me, I will also give you my number if you have any other questions. WARRANTY INFORMATION The vehicle will come with a 3year/ or 100,000 "Local" Warranty on the transmission. The transmission also has a 1year/or 12,000 mile National Warranty, the "Golden Rule Warranty" The warranty is from Don Britton's East Ridge Transmission Inc., and is part of the ATSG, or Automatic Transmission Service Group, ATRA, and ASE Certified. Because of the vehicle sitting so long the transmission was taken apart, cleaned, and rebuilt. ISSUES WITH CAR Radio is not working, may be a fuse, I will have it checked out this week and either have it fixed or factory replaced by the end of auction. This is the only issue with the vehicle. On Aug-02-11 at 14:07:44 PDT, seller added the following information: I tried to post a picture of the engine, but I cannot add any more, and it will not allow me to delete a photo to add the engine picture. If you email me, I will send you a photo of the engine as well. Thanks. Email is lex@electriccowboy.comOn Aug-06-11 at 17:34:58 PDT, seller added the following information: I have not had a chance to get the radio looked at due to work. The A/C, for anyone who has questions, works properly and has cold air. There is no sunroof on this vehicle. On Aug-07-11 at 17:40:21 PDT, seller added the following information: I will not be lowering the price of the car. I have to pay for school this week which is why I have lowered the price so much, if it does not sell, I will relist car later at a higher price. On Aug-12-11 at 20:30:52 PDT, seller added the following information: I wanted to mention, I will be putting a new set of tires on the vehicle, either tomorrow or the at the very latest Monday morning. This should be enough time for it to be done by the time the buyer gets here to pick the vehicle up. The tires that are on it have been on for several years, and I would feel better selling, having a brand new set on the vehicle. If I were buying a car, I would want new tires on it, so that's why. I do want to note, I do think the tires on it are okay, but would like it to be a best a purchase as possible. I have not had the opportunity to get the radio fixed because of my work schedule and traveling to different locations. I really did not feel comfortable anyone else driving the car to get it looked at. Also, the mileage is a bit higher, 11,550, because of everyone wanting to look at the vehicle. Good luck everyone! P.S. If you fly in to pick up the car, I have no problem picking you up at the airport, as long as my work allows me to step out.
