Up for sale is my later Father's 1976 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible. He bought the car from the 2nd owner. The car itself is currently registered and insured in NY. I'm going to try and describe the car to the best of my ability but please feel free to ask questions. An inspection is also welcomed. Mechanically the car is extremely sound. There was about $4000 in mechanical work done in 2007 so the car could be driven daily. The car starts with no issues and the big 500 engine is just outstanding. I drove it in 2009 for the summer and never had even an inkling of problem. Power windows all go up and down. Front seat works also. The top motor was replaced around 2008 also. The car does need a new break line. Please be aware of this as obviously you'll need to trailer the car. The body is very solid but dirty as you can see. The front caps were replaced in 2008 with ABS Plastics (the originals are rubber) but the rears are original. The piece around the rear plate is destroyed but I have a new one that's included. The interior is fairly worn as you can see. No major tears or anything, but worn and cracked. The carpeting is in very good shape, except the drivers door bottom peice of carpet which could use either a pulling or replacing (if you cared). The radio is a replaced sony AM/FM/CD but the CD is pretty tempermental. The biggest issue is the top. It ABSOLUTELY needs replacing. I don't want there to be any misinformation on this. The top is a disaster. The scissor system is complete and I have two new locking mechanisms included but the top is terrible. The rear glass is perfect and intact. I'm open to reasonable offers and again the car is available for inspection in Valhalla NY. If you have any questions please reach out to me. This has come up a few times so I wanted to include it here. YES I do have the white Parade Boot for the top. YES it is included with the car. I didnt realize it was so expensive or I wouldve listed it. Sorry about that! Secondly, I have the car insured through insurance and they can tow 50 miles. If you buy the car and are within 50 miles Im happy to get it you at no expense. Thanks!
