I am selling this 2002 E39 M5 to liquidate assets for a divorce. I am the 3rd owner. You will see 2 carfax items on this car. The first was a hit to the driver door before I owned the car. The second is from a raccoon stepping in front of me and causing quite a bit of cosmetic damage. All parts replaced with BMW OEM parts (NOT aftermarket). Condition Exterior: Really fantastic condition. I recently noticed a ding on the passenger rear door. Other than some chips off the front of the hood, there are no other noticeable imperfections (it IS 10 years old). The bumper cover is new as of May 2010, so it's in great shape. The wheels are also in great shape, no curb rash. Condition Interior: Everything is in very good shape. The driver's seat shows some fade and wrinkles from use, but no tears. There is a small tear (repaired) in driver side rear seat. The cupholders are junk, but what's new. There are some pixels bad in the display, and the rear view mirror needs to be reconditioned. I don't smoke and I don't think anyone has before in this car. Mechanical: Bought this car in Sep '09. In Sept '09: clutch replaced with OEM ALL filters and fluids replaced AC unit cooling fan motor assembly replaced New slotted front rotors in Jan 2010. New rear tires in Aug 2010 rear axle gearbox rebuilt in early 2011 New front tires in Mar 2011 New driver door window regulator in Aug 2011 New AC fan blower motor in Aug 2011.
