This is a rare classic, and just a real cool car. I bought last year from Nebraska and I originally purchased this car with the thought of redoing it, but unfortunately I just don't have the money or time to do it...so that being said if there is anyone with the time and money for a real cool project car this is it. I have put some money into it, like a complete tune-up. plugs, wires, cap & rotor, points, condensor, also new alternator and battery, new radiator with hoses, thermostat and water pump. I rebuilt the carburator a 2bbl and the motor is a 389 ci and a 3 speed transmission. (Please see note added below about A/C) The tires were purchased brand new last summer (2010) with very minimal mileage on them since then. The car drives and runs very good. It does however need a paint job and some very minor body repair basically some surface rust in a couple of spots. It is a good every day driver, a blast to drive and is real easy to get around in. The attached photo's show a couple close-ups with examples of the worst case areas of rust...Very minimal for age of vehicle! The photo showing the pitted chrome around the headlight is also "worst case". The majority of the chrome on the vehicle is in very good shape. We were told this car has never been exposed to salt! The interior is also in excellent condition for it's age. The seats are near perfect except for a couple minor flaws such as about a two inch area behind the top corner of the driver's seat where the seam is separating. The decorative interior trim around the rear window has come off. The ashtray below the dashboard is missing as shown in photo's. Inerior carpet is in excellent condition. It appears to have the original floor mat and clip-on visor mirror. I am hoping whoever buys this is willing to restore it and enjoy it as much as I had hoped to...or if not just drive the heck out of it it has a lot of life left in it. Car is being sold "as is" - sale is final. ****Depending on when car is purchased, transporting of vehicle may have to wait until after August 29th, as I will not be available during the last week of August. Also the car has A/C as I listed but it will need to be recharged as I have not done that yet. The compressor is good and does move freely and the system is still sealed.
