*********** 1956 F-100 Custom cab *********** Here's the perfect start for a father son, or resto mod, a rat rod or for a restoration! I've tried to Show how solid it is in the usual problem areas, and where all the trouble spots are, but for the most part this is a solid truck that can use some attention to details. The fender feels as if it is loose where it attaches to the body on the right rear, and the left forward part of the other fender appears the same. The floors are very solid, and even the insides of the cab corners have not rusted through. It has a very useable interior and runs very nicely. Tires are very old, steering has play, and it is very stiff to steer, but I am told by the previous owner that the front end, including the king pins were replaced, so maybe it's the fact that they haven't been used since done, or need grease.
