1977 Jeep Golden Eagle with 304 V8, Quadratrac. New: Engine, brakes, brake lines, fuel tank, fuel lines, 5 tires, shocks, distributor, ignition system,body mounts, console. Both differentials rebuilt. Carb rebuilt. New steering box. New paint in original color. Oak Green New Bestop Super Top. Floor pans repaired. ‘Gator Guard’ on the interior. About 3000 miles on the rebuild. Frame is very solid and had only minor surface rust. I have not purchased the replacement Golden Eagle decals but I do have pictures of the Jeep before rebuilding that show it with the proper decals. The tub is from a 1979 CJ7 and is solid. It does have filler in several areas but rust areas have been repaired with welded patches. The Jeep is not driven regularly so the transfer case tends to ‘stick - slip’ (as Jeep puts it) until it is warmed up. I bought some fluid that is specifically for this early Quadratrac that is supposed to cut down on this tendency, but it is not installed at this time. I’ll include it with the Jeep. I have not tried the ‘Emergency Drive’ mode so I don’t know if it works the way it should. The fuel gauge does not work despite a new sender, the oil pressure gauge is inaccurate (reads low, sender and gauge need replacement), the clock does not work. There is no warranty express or implied in this sale. The Jeep is sold as is, where is. I have described it to the best of my ability.
