I picked this up at a local bankruptcy auction because I didn't want to see it get scrapped. Car is complete. Oil in engine looked NEW- that and a few other signs indicated the engine might have been recently rebuilt, so I tried a Weber 32/36 from one of my other Opels and the engine fired up and ran great. Still needs a carb. Body is pretty solid, rust in rockers has been poorly repaired, but the floors and jack points (which are typical rot areas) appear to be very solid. Odometer says 61K miles, but who knows? Doors fit and close as good or better on this car as any I've seen - very straight. The would make a viable restoration candidate, or an EXCELLENT parts car. Bellypan area has rusted away. I'm moving so it has to go! No reserve auction. Bring a trailer and take it away.
