Real 1970 Buick GS 350 built up to 455 Stage 1 Specs during professional Ground up restoration. Looks,sounds and runs like a new car. Professional Transmission rebuild completed 10 days ago with only 50 miles on the clock. No stories, no problems.Car needs nothing except a new home and an owner that enjoys a quality machine. Clean mass title in my name ready for sign and drive. I will also include all listed parts and receipts given to me when I purchased the car. I took all photos with the engine running so you can see this runs smooth and clear with no smoke. Horn, lights and gauges all work. This car was professionally built and restored. From the best of my knowledge the restoration is about 8 years old and the car has seen about 7,000 miles since restoration. The only things I have done to the car my self is add a new set of Magnum 500 wheels and center caps and I had the transmission professionally rebuilt as there was an issue with it when I bought the car. I have the receipt from the transmission shop which states a 12 month/12,000 mile warranty. I don't know if this is transferrable, but I told the mechanics I was selling the car and they never said it wasn't. The slip will be included with all documentation given to the winning bidder. From top to bottom, inside and out this looks like a brand new car. Like new glass,chrome and trim as well as a flawless vinyl top new headliner and carpet. As seen in a few of this pics, there are a few small tears on the driver's seat and if you really looked there are a few small scratches on the paint. Overall the drivetrain,exhaust,wheels and tires are in outstanding condition. I sell the car as is and offer no warranties,returns or exchanges either expressed, written or implied: BODY: Paint is Bamboo Cream, which is a pale yellow with a saddle brown vinyl top. Body is original,clean and straight. Stick a magnet on it anywhere and you will connect to clean aligned sheet metal. Bumpers,grille and chrome work are beautiful and straight. Weatherstripping and glass are top notch. Paint is outstanding and save for a few minor blemishes looks like it was painted a month ago( paint is approximately 8 years old, but was done in a flawless multistage base/clear). No signs of bubbling, or rusting anywhere that I can see. Wheels/Tires 15" reproduction magnum 500 rims and center caps adorn the car. rims are less than a year old and look perfect. Tires are like new as well. Included in the sale are the original steel wheels painted in matching paint with original buick "poverty" hubcaps. The extra rims and caps are worth about $400 bucks. Interior: All gauges are functional.Headliner and carpet are flawless as they were replaced as part of the restoration. door panels are excellent as is the dash pad. Center console is factory fresh and all seat covers looks brand new except for a few small tears and markings on the driver's seat as seen in the pics. The driver's seat is an easy fix and if done by the new owner would make the interior look perfect. Custom steering wheel is in outstanding shape and instrumentation glass is clean and clear. Note that radio is not original to the car and I do not have the original radio. Underside/exhaust: Front and rear suspension was rebuilt during restoration and new air bags were installed in the rear suspension for better traction and handling. Floor pans are solid and underside of car was prepped and painted with 33% gloss black paint during restoration. New gas tank, sending unit and fluid lines were added during restoration as well. True dual exhaust with twin mufflers as seen in pics is expertly installed and in like new condition. Engine & Drivetrain ( the good stuff) Again I use the ownership documentation I have as this should be accurate and helpful: 1972 era block 455 c.i.d bored .030 over during professional rebuild (462 c.i.d) all oil mods to stage 1 specs done(mains,block, oil pump) Forged 10:5:1 pistons with Moly rings, stock rods and crank AM&P ported stage 1 heads Poston S driver intake(port matched), Lunati "hemi killer" cam double roller timing chain Holley 750 carb & T/A performance long tube headers Restored stage 1 air cleaner New 4 core radiator, dual electric fan set up and new transmission cooler deep sump oil pan Turbo 400 transmission with shift kit and high stall touque converter professionally rebuilt 7/13/2011, and matched to a chevy 12 bolt rear with 3.73 gears (runs at about 3,000 rpm @65 mph, so you can cruise in it and enjoy it) All together you have a 1/4 mile monster that is still a good Saturday night cruiser. This is a faithful stage 1 clone in high detail for less than 1/2 the price of a real stage 1. A/C and Heater delete so it is a little lighter too. Please free to contact me with any questions.
