Vehicle Detail
I'm selling my 2002 Honda Civic si. I bought this car brand new 9 years ago. I drove it off the lot with only 6 miles on it. Most of the miles that are on this car are highway miles. My commute to work was ~90 miles round trip. I love this car. It has been very reliable and I have not abused it. A couple of years ago, on two seperate occasions, I was bumped in parking lots that cause some cosmetic damage to the front and back (see pics). They both are easy fixes, I just never got around to doing it. You can see the body is still in great shape. Silver is one of the best colors to maintain and look great. The driver side bucket seat shows obvious wear (198K miles will do that). The rest of the interior is in great condition. A couple of things that should be fixed: - exahust leak. ( I believe its in the pipe directly behind the catalytic converter). This is to be expected since it is the factory exhaust. - One of the O2 sensors has faulted, causing a light on the dash display. There are two sensors, I am not sure which has gone bad, but it is an easy fix. - Needs tires soon. -Cd player giving me issues. ( I have a brand new one uninstalled, Pioneer. I will send this with the car if the bidder selects the buy it now option) This has been a great car from day one. Good Luck! ThanksI am advertising this locally, so will end the auction if someone offers what I am looking for. On Jul-22-11 at 07:32:11 PDT, seller added the following information: One thing I forgot to mention. Historically civics are known for having timing belts wear out around 100k miles. This car is gear driven(no timing belt), so you do not have to worry about the timing belt breaking and causing damage to the engine. On Jul-24-11 at 13:04:12 PDT, seller added the following information: If you would like any additional pictures, I would be glad to email or picture message them to your mobile phone. I have a few pics of the underside of the car. It was rubber undercoated a few years ago and is very solid and clean. I am re-listing since the last buyer was found to be a fraud. Please only bid if you are serious about buying. Thanks!
