Vehicle Detail
The vehicle up for sale is my 1987 Suzuki Samurai Custom. I bought it last October and it was my winter project just completed. It has been completely redone, was built for off road / on road driving and alot of time and money was spent to make it the way it is now. It is powered by the original 4 cylinder engine, backed by the original 5 speed manual transmission, aftermarket Webber style carb, riding on 4 Interco TSL Super Swampers size 31x 9.50x 15 on black oem round hole rims with a new spare to match, Calimini 2 1/2" suspension lift which includes full springs and shocks, new custom made and welded exhaust and muffler which dumps out after the muffler under the truck, new welded floor pans front and rear, new rear fenders welded in, custom panels for the front removable doors and rear fenders, front door quick disconnect straps, new seat covers, custom front and rear bumpers with hitch recievers built in, new outer rockers made from aluminum and rivited and sealed, Pioneer cd player with Alpine speakers, cb radio, multi colored led tach in dash, new radiator, new water pump not installed but new in box, completely reworked front clip including square tube stock steel, new high / low beam plow lights, grille panel, removable inner front fender panels, custom made mirror re location brackets to run with the doors off and pillar mounted off road lights. All the rot was cut out, metal welded in and light skimcoat of bondo on areas like rear corners and the rear fenders where I welded the new inner wells to the existing body metal. EXTRAS include 4 BFG All terrain tires size 31x 10.50x 15 on white oem wagon wheels with a fifth white wagon wheel for the spare, 4 spring shackles for added lift if wanted, extra driveshaft, lights, brackets, screws, fan shroud and i'm sure alot more. Whatever I have for it, goes with it. The engine runs strong but smokes a little bit during warm up, the trans shifts fine and the clutch grabs low, the 4 wheel drive works great, the brakes stop fine, the front end is tight for an offroad machine since I added a front swaybar and custom drop spacer brackets, the top is used and shows on the rear plastic window which has a strip of clear tape on it and everything seems to work fine. Included in my pictures are 2 to show what it started out like. I put it on the road in April and been driving it all over and I get alot of looks and praise from what it looked like when I got it. I'm sure it could use some little things here and there, the body was skim coated and the whole truck painted and undercoated so it will have dings and imperfections but it wasn't built for 1st in show. The idea was to make it nice, take it offroad, wash it off and rattle can any scratches to make it nice again. I'd love to keep it but other things take priority. If there are any questions, e-mail me and I will be glad to answer them. * I would like to be paid in full and vehicle removed within 7 days of the auctions end unless you spoke to me and we discussed it further. The payment must clear bank before the Sami or title is released. All shipping costs are to be paid for by the buyer. I will accept a certified bank check, Pay Pal deposit or COD. The Sami is being sold as is and it will have higher mileage since I am driving it daily and for sale locally.
