Vehicle Detail

1969 PONTIAC LeMANS CONVERTABLE This car is a Classic. I am selling this vehicle for a friend of mine. The car has been garaged while he has been working on the car. The main reason he is selling the car is he is losing his storage space, and the lack of funds to complete the car the way he would like to. The pictures are true and accurate. If you have any questions feel free to contact me. The Car is equipt with a 400cid 4 barrel motor, This motor is basically stock and runs good and strong. The car has recent paint, but the prep and (National chain ) paint work is satisfactory. The car has a recent inspection, but it may be due for another. The car is registered but has not been on the road. Mechanacally this vehicle is sound and in good condition. The dash and center column is in fair but repairable shape. The interior door panels are in fair shape. The rear seat side walls are missing. The seats need some work but are in decent shape. The pictures for the interior are pretty accurate. There is an approx. 4 inch slice in the convertable roof. The roof does go up and down manually. The motors for the roof are working but the cylinders are disconnected as you can see in the trunk pictures. The transmission casing is wet and there is a small stain where the vehicle is parked, but he has not filled it in over a year, so basically a gasket is seeping. Here are the items that he has completed. New floor panels New trunk panels New rugs New tires Craiger chrome mags Misc. mechanical work ie. motor work & tune up, brakes, suspension Remember this is a Classic car and it does need work. The vehicle is ready for someone that can spend the time and money to finish the car. The buyer pays for and arranges all shipping:On Jul-27-11 at 06:03:39 PDT, seller added the following information: It is noted above that the car is inspected...and it should have read it can be inspected with out issue. The last inspection was in 2009, and the vehicle has not been on the road. Most of the original work was performed on the vehicle for it to pass the 2009 inspection. This included the floor and trunk panels. you will notice in the front grill the aftermarket type of lights sitting on the surface, this was for temporary directionals
