Great running, rare, Swedish classic. like a 3/4 scale version of a 1940 Ford coupe, only smaller and nimbler. This is an un-damaged, and un-restored original condition car, with a wonderful 1940"s streamliner look and feel. Unlike the newer PV544's which were exported to USA with a newer 1960's dash, and trim, this is an original European specification car. The Steering Wheel, Dashboard, Gauges, and Trim are the original 1940's streamliner type. Even the Gauges are written in Swedish, and all work. Body is rust free, and paint is in good shape, with all the original Glass, and Trim in place, and undamaged. Interior was re-upholdstered about 15 years ago, and is in great shape. Engine runs smooth, and has good power. Many new parts like Tires, Battery, Electric (6V) Fuel Pump, Rebuilt Starter, Tune-Up, Exhaust, Brakes, etc. I have the Factory Repair Manual which shows in detail how to perform all extensive repairs, and even better, I have the original, 1956 Owners Manual in Swedish. As far as I can tell, the car was brought to USA sometime in the 60's with one of the "tour Europe, and ship car to USA" type of promotions Volvo used to have. In the 80's it was registered in Mesa, Arizona, and I have a lot of the repair records from that time. Since I've had it in Wisconsin, she is only driven in the summer, and kept in dry storage.
