Up for sale is my 1968 Triumph Bonneville T120. It is not a numbers matching bike- it has a 1965 motor and therefore is registered as such, but the rest of it is 1968. This is NOT a pieced together bike. Great rider, but not a show bike...it has a few flaws as any 43 year old bike would have. I have included a picture of where the paint popped and peeled around the filler cap so if I were keeping it I would have a tank respray. Otherwise its in great condition. I had the motor rebuilt last fall so it has new pistons, rings, gaskets, valves adjusted, etc. The bottom end was also gone through and the sludge trap cleaned out. Additionally I had a new clutch installed, brand new chain and two brand new AMAL 930 carbs with K&N pancake airfilters. Also had new exhaust pipes installed and also had new fork gaiters put on as well as new petcocks on the tank. Only has 500 miles on the engine rebuild and just changed the oil. The bike has a new rectifier, wiring harness, a new gel battery and new front tire. It was upgraded to electronic ignition in the past and I do not have the points. The bike runs great and starts on the first or second kick. Its slightly modified from stock- shorty mufflers, and the center stand, kickstand and rear swingarm are chromed. The tachometer drive is new, as is the tach (repro) and cable. The speedo (repro) is new but the speedo drive is stripped and does not work. I do have the cable, as well as a new chrome trim ring for the seat, front brake pads, and chrome dome nuts for the front fender. I also will throw in various rubber bits (new pegs, etc).
