This CRF 450R would make a great bike for someone that can put a few hours and a couple bucks into. This can actually be rode the way it sits, but I would do a few things prior to riding it. This CRF does fire up and run, but the motor has 18% leakage. For those of you who don't know, most motors have some leakage and the spec on this is a little higher than what we like to see. anything above 10% should be looked at. This could be because of a couple different things. I would start with a valve adjustment. It may just be a tight valve and if the valves are adjusted, it may be all it needs. It could also be rings or a seal. If you've worked on motors before, this is a pretty simple job and doesn't cost a lot of money in parts. The rear wheel has a few loose spokes (simple fix), the exhaust has a dent in it and the chain and sprocket are OK, but should be replaced in the near future. The fork seals do have a slight leak, but are OK for riding. The tires are both in good shape along with the bearings, brakes, Handlebar, tank, seat, clutch, transmission, fenders, electrical, cooling system, steering head and cam chain tensioner. For the right person, this would make a great bike at a great price. Please keep in mind that we recommend that you check over everything before you ride this bike as we do NOT do a pre-delivery inspection on our $1 listings.
