Item is being relisted due to a unresponsive Buyer 1982 Ford F150 Lariat Supercab 4X4 351 Windsor V8, automatic transmission 87,585 Miles on truck, not original motor, motor was rebuilt and do not know specific mileage. American Racing wheels, Heavy Duty Tow hitch, Mack Dog Mirrors, Rear Mudflaps and Dog on hood, Also has custom diamond plating around lower trim of body. Frame is in very nice shape, exhaust is straight pipes with glass packs that come out under rear of cab, no catalytic converters, also dual fuel tanks. Body is in great shape for year, there is a little bit of rust over the rear drivers side wheel well and on the bottom of the tailgate there are some pin holes. Truck was originally from Virginia until 08, I bought it about in May of 2010 I have never driven it, when I bought it it needed a new distributor, when I replaced it the module shorted when I started it, it did turn over and run for a few seconds. A mechanic told me there must be a short in the wiring somewhere between the distributor, coil and ignition system. He recommended replacing the wiring and maybe a new coil and it should solve the problem, but I am not a mechanic and no longer have interest or money in getting the truck running. This is a really nice truck for someone who can work on it, you won't find one as nice as this for the year that will be this inexpensive. There is also a tool box in the bed, the interior is in decent shape the front bench seat has a cover on it and appears to be rough under it, the rear seat is perfect, and the rug is ok, just a little dirty here and there. This truck has tons of potential, I was told it was built for speed and it really looks like with a little tlc it could almost be a nice cruise night or show truck. I also believe the transmission might need a gasket, there is a little bit of a spot under it where it has been sitting which appears to be dry tranny fluid. The truck must be towed out of my driveway, I will assist in any way I can.
