1983 Honda XL250R up for sale. I began a restoration on this low miles bike last year and now have a baby on the way and have to thin out my toys and projects. Here is what I have done to this bike so far:new chain and sprocketsnew seat strap and batteryoriginal handlebars purchased and installednew switch housingsalmost all removeable parts blasted and powder coatedentire exhaust removed, blasted, and powdercoated$1,500 in engine work done by Scotts Powersports in Coopersburg. Cases split, gaskets and seals replaced, cases blasted and powdercoated, cylinders bored and new piston and rings installed, etc.battery tender cable installedskid plate blasted and powder coated silverNew brakeslots of new hardware I was preparing to remove the tank and have it repainted and restore plastic parts but ran out of time. This bike has less than 4,500 original miles and could be a great bike for someone after all of the money I have dumped into it! It's not perfect but if you look at the pics it is a very nice bike! Clear PA title, passes inspection every time, fun to ride. I also have the original owners manual and receipts for the work done.
