1971 Dodge Challenger with 69 340 and J heads. Motor was built by RHS (Racing Head Service) in TN. The heads are fully ported and polished. Motor runs great. Holley carb needs a freshen up though. Trans was built with 2800 stall and shift kit. And boy does it shift-If you shift into second at any rpm it will spin them tires. Out back it has a 4.50? suregrip. I spun the wheels and counted the revs on driveshaft, but I don't think my number was correct. Its a 4 something though, she is a tire burner. Car has front and rear sway bars. Also has front disc brakes. I just cleaned the gas tank out, installed new pick up and sending unit, also new fuel pump and filter and lines. Car has electronic ignition, so Tach wont work with that but other rally gauge will. Clock works also. Body panels all line up nice. Front drivers fender needs replace though. Has 1970 grill not 1971. Front of hood has bondo. There are small spots of rust at front and rear window. Easy fix not large holes or many. Roof has some dents but all access from inside, and viynl top will cover any imperfections. Frame rails are all solid. Rust is in easy to patch places with lots of solid metal around it. Rear seat floors are almost perfect and those are usually bad. Front floors will need replace eventually. Trunk could use patches in center. Quarters need fix in front of rear wheel to make a good driver. Down the road I would replace quarters and outer wheel houses. Rust in drivers door hinge area at bottom and only on the driver side. It a good looking driver that can be patched up and painted fast. It has all the goodies as well. Interior is complete with good door panels and all seat belts.
