This is a 66 Fairlane 500 XL 2 door hardtop. It has bucket seats and console. It is an automatic. It has a 289 with under 500 miles on engine. It has a 750 vacuum secondary Holley, long tube headers, Comp cam and lifters, Comp roller rockers, 500 lift cam shaft hydraulic and 40 series Flow Masters. Runs great, sounds awesome. I drive it on the street and have raced it a few times. It has a B&M line lock. 411 gears with a mini spool which are both new. It has vintage aluminum slot wheels that have been polished. 15's on the rear and 14's on the front. It has light hail damage on the hood, roof and deck lid. Totally fixable. The car is in hot rod black primer. No body work done just sanded and primed. It has a few dings here and there. No rust in quarters or rockers like most that you see. In the trunk area there is small rust as seen in pictures. Front floor pans have been patched. Not a great job but not to bad. Needs headliner and bucket seats redone. I have the black carpet to finish floors. I have already insulated them. Fun car to drive and race on the weekends if desired. I am getting rid of the car because I want something a little lighter to drag race I did not want to gut this car out. These XL cars are getting hard to find.
