This is a 1968 Porsche 912. This car was parted out by a friend of mine a few years ago, he bought it for the engine and transmission. I “rescued the car” and stored it now it is time to admit I will not restore it and pass it on to someone else who will. This car is missing many parts but the chassis and body are mostly complete. Besides what can be seen in the pictures there are front brake calipers but no rears and struts and shocks and the wiring appears to be intact. This car is mostly rust free with the following exceptions. There is some rust damage to the floor pans which may be able to be repaired without replacing them entirely. There is rust under the area where the battery goes and it has gone all the way through. The outer rockers have some rust. The body has no evidence of accident damage. The inner front hood and inside the doors etc. still have nice original slate gray paint on them.This car includes all of the glass including a nice original Sigla logo windshield with West Germany markings. This car has the correct 1968 only anodized aluminum frame door windows with the opening vents and the correct 68-69 “3 bar” rear deck lid and grill. Most if not all of the original perlon felt carpeting is included and it looks like it will clean up nicely but the floor mats are missing.Although this car is painted white it was originally the less common slate gray color. The Vin number is: 12802831 and I have a good clean and signed title from the previous owner, I will also provide a bill of sale. This 912 is a roller project car. It has been partially parted out, it is missing the engine, transmission, dash switches, door handles, gauges, seats and various other parts. Comes as shown in the pictures. The last picture on this auction is of a restored or nice original slate gray 912.
