Unique opportunity to purchase an exceptionally maintained extremely low mileage Honda Prelude. Last year I purchased this car from the original owner with the intentions of using it to commute to work. Shortly after I received a company vehicle and now it doesn't get the attention it deserves. Being extremely meticulous with my cars I had it gone through by a master Honda Technician using OEM parts whenever possible. Since purchase the following parts have been replaced as preventative maintenance to prepare for years of reliable driving: New KYB dampersNew TiresRecent brakes/rotorsNew Clutch (Exedy OEM)Complete Tune upValve Cover gasketNumerous seals/gaskets/hosesAll fluids changed - oil, trans, coolant, brake etc5th gear swapped out with 1988 Accord for better freeway mileage (30MPG!!)New headlampsNew wiper blades The car is completely unmodified with the exception of a period Blaupunkt receiver and a Clifford alarm (removed). The car is in wonderful condition considering it age of 24 years. Both bumpers and all side moldings were refinished to body color. Looks great! The undercarriage and engine compartment are corrosion free and very easy to work on (no rusted bolts!). The body is accident free and has only minor imperfections. There are some minor dings in the paint and two or three small dents. Included with the sale are two keys, owners manual and shop manuals.On Jul-11-11 at 15:38:07 PDT, seller added the following information: I have been asked for a better description of the car. The photo of the minor corrosion is from water getting trapped under the rear window moulding. The interior of the car is in near perfect condition with new custom made OEM style mats with the "Prelude" logo in the correct type font. No cracks in any panels and the dash has a new carpeted cover. All windows are clear with good seals. This vehicle was garaged most of its life. Everything works properly including Air Conditioning and switchgear. The vehicle is as tight and solid as you would expect from a low mileage Honda. These older Japanese imports are becoming very popular.
