I'm selling my 2004 Kia Rio with no reserve!!! Here is a little about the car, please read this before bidding as I want you to know exactly what this car is and is not! Its a HOT HOT HOT SUMMER, and the car has ICE COLD A/C!! while getting 30 MPG. (I was getting 320 miles on less than 10 gallons of cheep gas) I've had the car for about 10 months, and its been my daily transportation, with a drive of over 70 miles. In the time I have owned it, I have had ZERO problems, and other than gas and oil changes, the car needed no work at all. However... this is what you need to know about this car.... It is under powered, maybe a tuneup will help, again, I only drove it for 10 months. don't expect to go any where fast. The air conditioner works great! It shifts rough, I was going to put in a transmission treatment, but the trans is 100% full, and I didn't want to ever fill it. In 20,000 miles, the rough shifiting has been the same The car cools off great even on days over 90 with the ICE COLD A/C It has minor dents and dings, most were on the car when I got it, but I have kids and they added one or 2 more in the driveway. You can freeze out your passengers with the working A/C Its missing a hubcap... and I never felt like spending money for a set of new ones. Did I mention the air conditioner works like a charm ;) The interior is not bad, but it needs a good detail and shampoo. The car has a "shimmy" to it, the faster you go the more you feel it. Again, this was a budget car for me, and I did not put any $$ into making it better. I have no idea what the shimmy is from, an alignment would be the first thing to look at and also check the wheel balance. The car has the following: Cold working A/C Factory AM/ FM stereo and CD player Power windows Power locks Automatic transmission with Overdrive I drove the car on the expressway every day, but with the shimmy, it does better on side roads. If you need a cheep set of wheels (as I did) this is a great option. If you have questions, please list them and I'll respond as quick as I can so all can read.
