HISTORY I bought this 1964 Ford Falcon one year ago in Roseville California. The previous owner bought it from it's original owner. Both owners had stored the car in a garage. Of this Ford Falcon model only 8,330 were ever manufactured. After running a VIN and manufacturing plate verification I found that this Ford Falcon came from San Jose California with the following amenities from the factory: a 260 V8 engine, and bucket seats futura model both of which the car still has. BODY The body of this car is a true survivor with only a minor dent of the driver's side front fender. It has the original paint, which is in great condition considering it's age. All trim and glass are also original and in excellent condition with nothing missing.No cracks or chips in glass. INTERIOR The car still has all the original interior, all the badging is present, but will need some repair. This is a west coast rust free car. DRIVE TRAIN This car originally had a 260 with a 2 speed transmission. When I bought the car it came with an 87 302. The car had blown head gasketts from improper tightining of the heads. I recently rebuilt the top end of the motor. Upon doing so my Machinist informed me that the heads were 351W heads; so I then checked the motor's intake and everything is in place to support the head conversion. In short the heads are newly rebuilt and the motor is running strong. It has a C4 high performance transmission with original rear end . A B&M shift kit has been installed. The windsor 351 heads make this a dependable 302 engine. The previous owner also informed me that the engine was rebuilt with only 20,000 miles and I have only put 100 miles on the car since the top end rebuild. As you can see, I have put many man hours and money into this car I am selling this car because I am currently working on other projects. I would love to see this car go to a good home...she is a great find. The lucky winner of this car will not be disappointed.
