Previous owner put $19,000 into car and I have all receipts. Car has approx 15,000 miles on rebuilt engine and transmission. There are too many improvements to list. In 1998 Mattel used THIS CAR to produce a die cast reproduction for their 1970 Beetle Matchbox car. See pictures for documentation to support this. All Lithographs, documentation and Budweiser Matchbox car are included in sale. I bought the car in June of 2005. It has been stored in a climate controlled garage by previous owner and me for a total of 19 years. I have put approx $5,000 into the car mostly in body work. This car is freshly painted all minor rust issues were addressed (original color which is very rare) all new chrome and more. I have only entered it into one serious Volkswagen car show( not into the car show scene) and it did win 1st Place in it’s class (see pictures) I currently have CT year of issue plates displayed on car (very hard to find two that match) they are now legal in CT. The seats are all original there is a little discolored spot on Passenger seat you can see in pics but you cannot see tears in drivers seat. I am going down to take pics of that area plus some other pics people have asked about this afternoon after work.
