1964 DODGE 440 WAGON ORIGINAL CALIFORNIA CLASSIC ONE-OWNER! 318 POLYSPHERICAL WIDE BLOCK V8 ORIGINAL BLACK PLATES ORIGINAL DOCUMENTATION FULLY LOADED 9 PASSENGER NO RESERVE!!! Up for sale is a very clean ONE OWNER CALIFORNIA ORIGINAL. This is a CLASSIC DODGE 440 WAGON with seating for 9 that has been kept in very good condition for its entire life. It has been in the same family since it was purchased new from the dealership and has paperwork dating back to the day of sale as well as maintenance and service records from the same era. The ORIGINAL BLACK PLATES from 1964 and LICENSE PLATE FRAMES are still on the car. The car runs, drives, breaks and performs great. It appears to have the original paint color combo and only have been repainted once during its entire life. The body is very solid and straight. Paint blend work was preformed in a few small various areas. Its not really noticeable unless you really look hard for it. This is a 98% RUST-FREE car. The floors and undercarriage are solid. There is some very minor bubbling on the drivers side rear quarter panel. (See Picture) Spare tire well also has some slight rust issues that were epoxyed and undercoated. (See Pictures) Some minor rust in the engine compartment heater core area. (See Pictures) The chrome is all original and in very nice shape for its age. All of the trim is in excellent shape for its age. The rear bumper step-pads are in-tact and in great shape. The rare factory chrome deflectors are in nice shape. The chrome luggage rack is in great shape along with the chrome luggage rack ribs. All the chrome moldings are straight as an arrow. All of the lights, signals, and accessories work including BOTH DOME LIGHTS and the ORIGINAL AM RADIO. The speedometer sometimes needs a very slight tap to get it to register. All the rest of the gauges work. The owner installed an aftermarket gas and temperature gauge. The gas gauge is off by roughly 1/4 of a tank. The interior has been redone at one point and is in great shape with no tears, rips or wear and is very comfortable. All the factory seat belts are intact including front and rear bench seats as wells as the fold out jump seat. The factory day/night mirror is still there. All windows go up and down as they should and the glass throughout the car is in great shape. The rear key-powered window even works. The car retains it ORIGINAL rear rubber mat, plastic spare tire cover, jack, and jacking instructions. The engine is a 318 POLYSHERICAL WIDE BLOCK V8 with a PUSH-BUTTON 727 TORQUE FLIGHT TRANSMISSION that shifts great with no hesitation. There are no leaks anywhere from the engine or transmission. I was told the engine and transmission were ORIGINAL to the car and rebuilt but I have no documents supporting that so please come inspect it for yourself. Dual exhaust. The factory hubcaps and and tires are in decent shape. The tires are older. The shocks and suspension have been gone through and the car rides really smooth. Included with the sale is the ORIGINAL MATCHING STAMPED VIN CERTIFIED CAR PASSENGER CARE WARRENTY AND REQUIRED SERVICES RECORD BOOK, ORIGINAL OWNERS MANUAL, ORIGINAL VEHICLE AND PURCHASER IDENTIFICATION CARD AND THE ORIGINAL KEY!
