Vehicle Detail
Here we have a very rare 1939 Buick Wood Carved Side Panel Hearse, Body by Miller being offered here with NO RESERVE on the auction! Very rare vehicle needing complete restoration. Good front end to go with car as well as a 1939 Buick Century Engine (4 door) - see pics) that I bought specifically to put in this vehicle. This one of a Kind is rough but restorable. The passenger side wood is on the car and the drivers side is in the back of the car. I have a set of fenders, the upper fender panels, a nose piece and a grille set. The nose piece does need to be repaired as it is dented - but it is repairable. The interior and exterior moldings are really a sight to see and at last look I had all the pieces. The Drivers side loader door is inside the car. As mentioned, I finally located a 1939 Buick Century (4 door) engine and transmission to go with the car, but no guarantee as to their condition. I have personally unstuck motors sitting since the 40s after a weeklong treatment of Deisel fuel/ marvel mystery oil squirted into the Spark plug holes, so this will probably work as well, as the intake / carb has been covered and the motor has sat covered for years. As for its history, the car came from Rancho Cucamonga, CA. Afterward, it was sold to a retired Marine and the Car sat on his Southern California Ranch for 20 yrs before I bought it and moved it to my Denver home with the intention of restoring and getting a Broadway title for it. However, I traded 3 Prized hearses for another Amazing Carved Panel hearse so I am letting this one go to someone worthy. These cars will all end up in Museums someday long after we are all gone, so restore it or put a hotrod motor in it...either way, this vehicle will live again! Spend this Summer resurrecting this so you can drive it this Fall... Either way, this will be an enjoyment just to look at (as my Carved Panel is!). Cars like this are too rare to even conceive of and here is your chance to get one with no reserve, so don't delay getting your funds in order because this car will go to the highest bidder! I have sold to foreign buyers in the past and have had no issues, as long as you get your shipping in order. Of course, I will assist in getting it loaded on your shippers vehicle. The car will have to get titled using a service from a titler (I personally prefer Broadway titles - Google them.) As far as arranging for your shipping, I prefer www.uship.com and always get amazing deals from that site on vehicle shipping) - Check it out! I have had other Large nonrunning cars like this shipped from border states for around $400-600 and around $900 from as far as 1800 miles away. Good luck bidding!
