This item has been re-listed due to the last one being phished. I deleted the old ad to prevent anyone being scammed because of how terrible that is. (The highest bidder in the previous auction was ($535.00) NOTE: I accidentally put this car up in a classified ad thinking it was auction style format, so I do apologize for any confusion or inconvenience. Anyways, re-listed is a 1973 Volvo 145 Estate (Station Wagon.) I am the 3rd owner. The entire car is all-original: engine, drivetrain, interior, wheels and even the paint. Back story: The car does not run and has not been started since 1998. My grandfather bought the car secondhand in 1985 when he lived in Pasadena, CA and brought it with him when he moved to Texas in 1994. Prior to the move the entire engine was overhauled. In Texas the car was registered non-op, but he kept it fresh and running until 1998, when my uncle needed a car battery. He Volvo's battery was donated and has not been replaced since. In October 2006, I towed it back to Southern California and my grandmother approved the ownership to my name (Grandpa passed 4 years before that). Condition: The engine has not been started since 1998, so a complete re-do of the motor will probably be needed. The gas tank was emptied not long after it was disabled, so there should not be any rot in there. The interior is in near perfect shape, except for the two spots in the rear seats (pictured). The body is straight except for some scratches and minor dents on the left, rear wheel arch (pictured). Also the passenger side mirror is not mounted on the door (is in a box pf parts inside the car). This car is perfect for a Volvo enthusiast who values all-original parts and no rust. It has been a part of the family for 26 years and I want to see it kept in a good home.
