Up for consideration is a 1965 buick wildcat convertible. This car is completely original down to the floor mats that came with it when new.What i liked about this car was that it was a one owner vehicle owned by a woman that was known to be particular about her car.All receipts were kept as a history to the car starting in 1967 and ending in 1994. The last receipts dealt with the motor rebuilt with the milage at 157,906. Currently the car reads 191,267 which means there are 33,361 miles on the motor. It's a 401 nailhead, 455 h.p. with factory air condioner. Automatic transmission and power windows. The dash is very nice with no cracks, etc. There is a small crack in the bottom of the windshield. The vehicle is not tagged or insured and parked at a relitives carport to keep it out of the weather.Have not owned very long and only drove one time around the neighborhood. It runs, quiet, smooth and seems to brake fine.The top went down and back up again. The car was used the last few years just to go to doctor appointments and the store so needs a check-up before any road trips... The body still has the original paint, no work has ever been done so there are no suprises. That was a bonus for me. The way the car was parked in its life reflects what needs to be done. Parked in a carport behind the house the right side was exposed and the rear was also.The trunk needs the weather strip replaced. The trunk floor needs a couple places patched or the floor replaced and the back bumper needs replaced. I pulled the back seat up and pulled the carpet back- all that area looks good. The floorboards and frame looks good and gets better as you go to the front of the car. The front bumper , grill ect all looks great.Some dents and rust on each side--see pics. If you need more, just ask. I checked the NADA- was surprised at the dollar these cars are worth. Makes this car a good investment as well as a fun project. The car if sold can stay at location for awhile till transport can be arranged but request fast turn around on the funds due so the orthodonists and others can get paid......
