Vehicle Detail

Second owner 2000 C-5 Coupe with Lingenfelter performed modifications. First owner sent car to Lingenfelter in June of 2005. The original engine was pulled and replaced with a rebuilt LS-6, in addition to the installation of an RPM HD transmission, mini-tubs and HRE wheel/tire package. I hear the LS-6 has better oiling capabilities and a stronger block than the original LS-1. Total price at Linfenfelter was $35,353.22 and was performed when car had only 9,590 miles on it. I am the second owner and have owned the car since December 2007, at which time the vehicle had 13,000 miles on the odometer. It now has just turned over 26,000 miles. It has always been garage kept and is in very good condition. It will need tires in the back very soon. If you use the buy it now option, I will have new tires installed. I will also have it serviced and will throw in the original wheels and tires with the buy it now option. The car also has both tops, the second being clear blue. The vehicle has just shy of 600 horsepower at the rear wheels. Needless to say, it runs very well. Although you shouldn't buy this vehicle for fuel mileage, it gets very good mileage for this type of performance. I drove the vehicle around town yesterday and averaged 17 miles per gallon. It does require 93 octane fuel. I have always run 94 octane. I sent the vehicle back to Lingenfelter last year for a service and had new air cleaners installed. The car needs nothing, besides rear tires. The rear tires are Viper size, yet this car will break traction at any speed under 50 miles per hour. My wife and I love this car and I do hate to see it go. I am only selling due to the fact that the IRS wants a piece of me right now. The winning bidder will make a non-refundable deposit following the close of auction and will pay for the vehicle in full by the time of delivery with certified funds. I will not hand over the keys to anyone until and unless the vehicle is paid for. I am not a car dealer and I don't plan on just letting anybody take this car for a joyride. I do have the title in my hand. If you are looking for the best bang for the buck, look no further. Please e-mail any questions. I have all receipts from Lingenfelter, maintenance records, books, two keys, etc. Be advised that when the reserve is met, the Buy it Now disappears. So if you really want a twin turbo Corvette, you might give some consideration to the Buy it Now option. On Jul-10-11 at 12:29:30 PDT, seller added the following information: The car also has a factor 12 disc CD changer and heads up display. I also purchased four new drilled brake rotors and ceramic brake pads, but the brakes are still in good condition, so I decided to wait on replacing them. I will let the new brake parts go with the car.
