For sale is my 2000 Subaru Outback, it has 141920 miles on it. It has a 2.5 4cyl engine. My wife and I own 4 vehicles and we need to downsize for insurance and parking at home. The Subaru runs great starts right up makes no strange noise or odd noises it shifts and drives smooth there is a little wind noise around the drivers window. It is an Automatic with AWD. It has 4 brand new Kelly tires on it. They still have the fingers on the tread. I bought the car unseen, being told it was really clean and it needed a transmission. I paid for the car and when it arrived it was not as clean as the seller stated. There are cigarette burns on the interior and the front Passenger fender and rear drivers quarter panel were both poorly painted. There are a lot of scratches on the body mostly on the hood. and it needed some more work as well to pass a legitimate VA inspection.The car smells clean now, I steam cleaned all the carpets to get the smoke sell out (I have a friend with a commericial shampooer, and it really is gone. I put a used transmission in the car with 101K miles on it, after the seller wouldn't give me back any money or take the car back. I put new front struts, rear sway bar links, power steering rack boots, and a rear trans mount, Rear main seal and, got the car 4 wheel aligned and had it VA state inspected. i then drove it til the tags expired in Jun of this year and I am deciding to cut my losses and sell it. The AC works great (I put a new updated AC relay in it as it was cutting out occasionally) The timing belt was done recently I pulled the covers to check it. (It still looks brand new) I'm pretty sure the head gaskets were done sometime ago, the intake gaskets look newer and the valve cover gaskets were done. It isn't using any coolant as of recent. or leaking oil. Brand New Tires and 4 wheel Alignment. Brakes are over 75% (look almost new and no shaking) Options Power Windows, Power Locks,Keyless entry,Cruise,It runs great the paint isn't real nice. I had quote of 400 to fix everything by a friends body shop. (on a slow day) We are headed to VA beach on July 15th till the 17th I would like to have the car gone by then, and I will accept paypal for the entire amount with a 3% charge. I want to be honest and not be a let down to someone buying this car like I was. I will not end early you can use buy it now if you want. The car books for around 6K so I feel I am priced fairly with the bodies condition.
