Okay all you Spitfire lovers, help me out here. Up for auction is a 1964 Triumph Spitifre. I began this resotration several years ago, but the project was interrupted by the arrival of my children, so its time to move this on to a new lover of these great British cars. I have included many pictures so you can see exactly what you are getting. Its all there, this car ran when I pulled it into the garage, but has not been turned over in several years, so the engine will need some serious attention, as will the interior as you can see. I did the body work and the rust is minimal (minus the usual degradation of the floor pans) All the chrome is here, al the lights, turn signals, bumpers etc. Not sure if these are the original seats, but they are solid and will just need new coverings. The generator has been replaced with an alternator. The rear suspension is locked with the wheels cambered in, so again you can see that this car will be needing the attention of a true lover of older cars to bring it back to the road where it belongs. I cant stress enough that I would prefer this to not be parted out, but restored, it would be a shame to see this complete package dismantled. I am ready to answer any questions as this will be a short auction. The title is CLEAR and in my possession.
