1989 Volvo 740 Intercooled Turbo Wagon These 740 Volvo "BRICKS" were the best Volvo's ever built This is a great example of the classic Volvo 740 wagon fully optioned with intercooled turbo and full power accessories. A lot of time and money recently spent on this car to get it ready for the road again after coming out of long term storage by original owner. New fuel pumps [both], new fuel filter, cleaned fuel tank, new fuel tank sending unit, new fuel lines, new fuel injectors, new fuel pressure regulator, new fuel pump relay, new ignition amplifier, new distributor, new distributor cap & rotor, new spark plug wires, cleaned throttle body, a couple new hoses & new battery. Starts, runs and drives very well considering the model year and mileage. These 740 intercooled turbo wagons are rear wheel drive and are quite fast in stock form. This is NOT your typical old man wagon. This car is all original, its never been modified, has always been adult owned/driven, maintained and not abused. Rare black on black leather combo. Exterior paint is original and still looks very nice as shown. Interior in good/average condition having some cracks in the dash and drivers seat wear/tear otherwise very decent interior. Headliner was replaced years ago except for the sunroof covering. All power/electric accessories work fine. There is a crack in the lower passenger side windshield and a couple stone chips/stars also. No real dents anywhere and no rust. Some small blemishes as expected and the A/C works although it currently has a small hole in the condensor that needs sealed and recharged. Hard to find A.R.E. 2 piece alloy mesh wheels were installed when new. This car is certainly not perfect but they are becoming hard to find in this good of condition. With a little restoration this would be an excellent candidate to hold onto when they demand cult status value. Always gets looks/comments/compliments and is a conversation starter. I've priced it very fairly but I'll still consider a reasonable offer from a Volvo enthusiast. It will be available while this ad is posted only so get it now or risk missing out.
