UPDATE: I had this car listed before but pulled the listing because i received a deposit and agreed to sell it. As you can see that fell through and i will not do it again, it was a waste of time and money. I'm now re-listing it at the price it was at when i pulled the add and will run it for 5 days. It is a NO RESERVE auction and the highest bidder will win a great 1966 Mustang that runs, drives and looks great. AGAIN, i will not pull the auction early so please don't ask. Last time i was asked 7 different times so this time i want to make sure everyone understands that the auction will run the complete 5 days. 1966 Ford Mustang fresh 289 motor/Fresh C4 trans. This car was just restored 2 months ago and is in great shape, everything new or rebuilt!!! I also have a folder of receipts that were given to me from the previous owner. EXTERIOR - NEW Custom Paint Job that looks great, all new metal, car has no bondo and is straight as an arrow. NEW fenders, qtr panels, hood, trunk, gas tank, emblems, etc, etc..... The emblems and hood pins are all new and still in the box. The car also has a new front bumper. INTERIOR - The interior looks great and the new carpet and headliner were just installed. This car is EXTREMELY clean and the custom floor mats still have the tag on them. Seats are also in great shape with no rips or tears. It has the stock am/fm radio in it but doesn't work and I'm not sure why. I didn't care because i planned on putting a new one in it anyway. MOTOR/TRANS - Fresh rebuild on a V8 289 and runs great. I just installed a new 600 Holley with Elderbrock Performer intake, fires right up and runs great. It also sounds great and has a 2 1/2 Flow Master dual exhaust system!! I think it has a very small exhaust leak but have not got under it and looked yet. The trans is a C4 that was rebuilt with a shift kit and 2500 stall, shifts strong!! Pos rear end, but not sure of the gear ratio. The car is very smooth on the Hwy and gets good gas mileage so i think it has about a 300 gear ratio. The radiator was upgraded from the stock radiator to a Griffin radiator and the temp stays at 190 degrees all day. EXTRA GOODIES - The car may have been set up for racing years ago because a nice parcial tube frame was installed as well as a on/off switch (see pictures). The car also has 3 way adjustable suspension. I recently bought this car for my wife so i had it checked out by my mechanic. I wanted to make sure it was safe and reliable and my mechanic confirmed it is. Unfortunately some friends of ours just bought a convertable mustang and now she wants one as well so this has to go first. We just took it to a cruise night tonight and this car gets a ton of attention and won a trophy, its a really nice looking reliable car.
