This has been my personal Work Car for the past 6 years, it has a Clean Title released from Jaguar Credit - it has 166000 miles on the clock and was under the Jaguar warranty for the first 100K - As you see it this AWD machine looks great and runs the same - So if you dont know much about Jags here is the scoop... they made two kinds of Jaguar X Type for this year - the non sport (designed for the older crowd with the blue hair - it came with nice pleated seating and woodgrain everywhere to follow the traditional Jag mantra) Then they made the sport (never very many on eBay and NONE this dressed up) - the Sport from the factory only had a few upgrades and as the years went on the factory made this a better looking machine - here is why this one looks different and has all the 2008 upgrades - other than the OEM Jag stuff - this one also has the winter package with Heated Seats, Mirrors, Windshield - The car needs a vacuum and bath which I did not get to do yet - It has been Rust Proofed, Undercoated, and Teflon paint sealed so it cleans up fast and very nice- The Air blows cold, the front seats heat on low and high, the 6 disc system thumps, plus it has a flippn cassette. It has a bluetooth tie in for your phone, the tilt works, the cruise is perfect, the windows all express up and all express down, I have both keys but the remotes need batteries (sorry) the windows are tinted all around, all the lights work and the tires are pretty darned NEW Continentals Z Rated all seasons - the spare tire is on a perfect black chrome BBS matching wheel (full size) so read on and see why - I do consulting and travel a bunch - my new vehicle is near 9000 miles in 90 days. This AWD Jag has done me right from day one - owning a Jaguar will change you life - people look at you different, its amazing! 2008 Factory Body Kit -RARE - Nose, Rear, Sides, and Chin Spoiler - About $2500 painted and installed Stainless lower Mesh - $300 Black Leather Steering wheel with controls Normal is woodgrain Rear SUPER SPORT OEM Spoiler 1" taller and Ultra Rare - came from the UK - not even available in the USA - $500 Stainless Steel Borla Exhaust - RARE - $600 Carbon Fiber chin splitter - ULTRA RARE custom made - $500 3M front end Chip Gaurd - $200 Brake Up Grade with (NEW) R1 Cross Drilled and Vented discs front and rear - Ceramic Pads (NEW) plus some good looking Brembo covers - ULTRA RARE - $1000 Newer Bilstien Suspension - $1200 Newer OEM Springs from Jag parts department - $600 K&N Filter and removed silencer for almost 30 MPG on the highway - $50 Aluminum Pedals - RARE from the UK - $300 2008 Grill from the UK - ULTRA RARE - $300 2-piece BBS wheels that have been PVD Black Chromed plus a matching Chromed Spare - ULTRA RARE if not UNHEARD OF (the set to replace and black chrome would be $7000) Jaguar OEM Rear DVD that also ties into gaming - UNHEARD OF - $1000 Upgraded MB Quart Speakers X-8, two Subs, two Amps - RARE - $1100 Navigation with DVD data - RARE Heated Front Glass - Ultra RARE That is just a sample of what these upgrades cost should you want to start with a lessor car and dress it up - Xenon Headlamps with Auto On and fogs Under warranty they did -New complete crate OEM Jag 3.0 Engine at under 50K (dealership forgot to preplace the PVC and it damaged the engine and they replaced the whole thing) they also replaced the transmission, replaced the rear end, replaced the seat tracks, and the drive shaft as they were chasing a small vibration, it was so funny because it only needed a carrier bearing and they had it in the shop for a month changing all these items and general maint. You can go to any Jag Dealership and have them supply you with Service Records to make you feel better - It has a Kuda phone holder that I will keep but what you see is what you get. Here is what doesnt work - we changed alternater and put in a new battery last year and did not do it with Jaguar for $1000 and spent $200 with NAPA and it didnt come with a PIN so the battery light is on - the mechanic says its Jags way of making you buy the $1000 unit - I have driven it for a year like this and never been let down - The sensor on the auto wipers or the is switch funky - wipers work on low and high but intermitent sometime stops in the middle of the glass. Sunroof tips up but doesnt drop down and go back - some little clip is broken (maybe $50 in a salvage yard) and the headliner is a little saggy ($180 to redo the whole thing) after they jacked with it trying to fix the clip - Normal wear and tear on the valances, two scuffs on the door trim but not dinged and normal wear on the leather seating (no tears or broken seams) and the Ashtray (change holder) has a broken pin but stays either open or shut - The Keyless Entry needs a couple of Batteries Body and Paint - 4 years ago going through Atlanta, I hit a chunk of wood in the road and it damaged the bumpers coming in and coming out so I had an insurance claim on that and then last year I needed a bumper, a lady tapped me from behind (she said she was sorry) - no quarter panel damage or frame issues - just bumper and paint I am a NON SMOKER - dont have kids, never used the DVD but know it works (you need your own plug in, and the dog rides in my truck. I have both the summer floor mats and the winters to go along with this. Also - I will throw in the OEM -ULTRA RARE - Car Cover - $300 So she might have some miles but definatly not ready for the pasture yet. If you are not willing to give this special machine some TLC and attention then you would be better off buying a Taurus - Its not a racecar even though its full of high performance stuff if you want something to run fast, buy a mustang - if you want what might be the best dressed Jaguar X Type R on the continental USA then save this and Bid!
