Vehicle Detail

For sale is my 1990 Lincoln Mark VII. It has 73,xxx original gently driven miles on it. The car runs and drives nice and has a lot of power, having the 5.0 liter engine, same as the older Mustangs came with. These cars were once known as the rich boy's Mustang The car is all stock and has never been messed with. I have taken very good care of her, and for a 21 year old car, it is still a real head turner, I take it to many car cruises. The body is in excellent condition, having just a tiny ding on the drivers side door which is not even noticeable. (only mentioning it to be accurate) It is rust free and again, it really is a head turner. It does however need some work. I will list all known problems which most are just minor. First, the only drive train issue is the transmission does not go into overdrive. When it gets to that speed to go into overdrive, it acts like it is neutral. When I drive it, it is mostly local, so not an issue with me. I have not had it checked out, so I don't know if it is a minor problem with a linkage , or maybe a vacuum line. I have replaced the drivers side window motor, but now the passenger side is slipping when you raise and lower it. The radiator neck has a small piece broken off, and will need to be replaced. The Drivers side power door lock is not working, I think the lock mechanism fell off of the mount. (retaining clip came off) For some reason, the dash lights don't come on with the switch, but they do for the security lights when you open the door. The interior is in good shape except for the drivers side has wear from getting in and out. The radio is missing, as I had planned on replacing it. The ac blows, but needs to be recharged. I have listed everything I know to be wrong with the car. I love the older cars and have had this one for 6 years, time to move onto something else. If you love these cars, and have time to work on them, this would be a great car to have. Car comes as is, payment due within 3 days of purchase. If shipping is required, that is the buyers responsibility but I can assist with the arrangement. Feel free to ask any questions. Happy bidding.
