Rare 1978 Alfa Romeo Alfetta sedan for sale. This is a solid drivers car. In the two years that I've owned the car, I've had rear bushings replaced, wheel bearings re-packed, brakes serviced, a new clutch put in, and the radiator redone. I have receipts for all of this work, and it was done by a reputable local foreign motors shop. The car is setup now, and drives very nicely. There are several issues. Second gear synchros can be finicky, but if you shift slowly, they are fine. The body does have some rust developing over the rear wheel wells. The paint is presentable, but shows its age up close, and there are some poorly touched up areas on the roof. Some of the powder coating on the wheels is flaking off. The blower motor has been disconnected because it was making a noise. Vehicle locks do not work. There is no radio or front speakers in the car at present. There are some tears in the interior seat fabric, but the headliner is good, and overall the interior is presentable. The window regulator on the front passenger side door is not working (replacement included). The car will leak in heavy rain, despite apparently having recent weatherstripping. I haven't been able to nail down this issue, and therefore I keep the car out of the elements. The car has an ansa exhaust, and I believe it has been lowered with custom springs. It sounds beautiful. The motor has never given me any trouble (except when the radiator had to be replaced, as noted above) with the exception of occasionally needing a jump start. I believe it may be a bad starter motor, as the battery has been replaced within the past year. I carry a portable jumper battery with me, which works well when necessary. Buyer will be responsible to setup and coordinate any vehicle shipping (I can be available on a limited basis to meet a shipping company). Car must be picked up within two weeks of final payment or deposit may be forfeit. This has been a fun and reliable weekend car for me. There's nothing like cruising in an Alfa and hearing the melody of the engine note. I have some expenses that have come up unexpectedly, so, unfortunately, I need to sell the car.
