Very clean 1974 CB350Four. Full cosmetic restoration while keeping it as original as possible. Professional respray of tank and side covers using original formula Honda metal flake 2-stage paint. Special note: no more peeling pinstripes ever! Look closely - the tank pinstripes have been painted on; they are not decals!!! Pictures don't do justice to the deepness of the beautiful metal flake paintjob. Many new Honda OEM parts, including all new cables. Chrome is bright and shiney, but not perfect. There is some pitting and a bit of rust is present. Overall this is a very nice daily driver that you'll be happy riding - but it's not a museum piece. Bid accordingly. It runs well and smooth, but there's a hint of smoke from cylinder #3 upon a cold start-up and lasts until it warms up enough to turn off the choke. It starts quickly and idles smoothly. The original 4-into-4 exhaust is on it for originality although a previous owner did some patchwork to every pipe - see pictures. Included is a 4-into-1 new chrome exhaust system if you'd like to swap it out. Seat is nice and original, but showing some signs of wear typical of a bike this age. All electrics work as-new. I believe the bike was tipped over at some point in its' life because the right handlebar looks a little low to me. Also there is some minor paint chipping on the righthand headlamp ear which adds to my suspicion. Included is a spare handlebar if you're interested in changing it out. As-is it rides fine with no mechanical worries. There is no warranty on this motorcycle. I am not a motorcycle mechanic - I concentrated on the cosmetic restoration and I've disclosed all I know about the mechanical bits of the bike. $300 deposit due via cash, cashiers check or PayPal within 48 hours of bid closure. On Jul-04-11 at 17:54:03 PDT, seller added the following information: UPDATE: When I bought the bike, it had the 4-into-1 exhaust on and it did not smoke. After installing the factory 4-into-4 system, it smoked until it warmed up. I just now started it after it had been sitting for the past 2 months and there was absolutely no sign of smoke. This may be because it's summertime now (warmer) and perhaps the smoke will return again when the temperature gets colder, OR because there was oil in the #3 pipe and now it's burned out. I tend to think there was oil in the pipe since it didn't smoke with the 4-into-1 exhaust, so I think the engine is fine and you won't have any worries. All the same, be advised I did see it smoke upon start-up this past March until the engine was warm enough to turn-off the choke but now it doesn't do it.
