Vehicle Detail

Up for auction at "NO RESERVE" is my "Clear Title" 1963 Ford Thunderbird with a 390cid V-8 backed by a 3 speed cruise-o-matic transmission and 3.00 open Ford 9" rear. I initially purchased this Thunderbird with intentions of restoring it due to its potential. Due to too many projects, I have decided to let the T-bird go. This 1963 Ford Thunderbird is well optioned and features power steering, power brakes, remote mirror, air conditioning, slide-away column, am/fm push button tuning radio (WORKING), power windows, power driver's side seat. The 390cid fires right up runs, idles nicely and drives. The transmission shifts up and down properly with no slippage. I recently purchased a new Holley 600cfm vac secondary in place of the original 4bbl (which is included and needs rebuilt). This car has nothing missing from its originality with the exception of the A/C compressor, other than that it is a complete car with absolutely nothing to go and hunt for! The chrome plating on the car still retains excellent reflective properties and no pitting on just about all of the pot metal. The Stainless Steel mouldings are in very good condition and shine very nicely. The interior is in "Good" condition and is a correct interior for 1963, it does have a slight tear in passenger rear headliner and the padded dash is slightly cracking. All of the interior upholstery is in good shape, no tears, no dingy looking, carpet is respectable and all of the interior mouldings are bright and shiny. The interior is a real nice highlight to the car. The electrical on the car is functional, headlights, tailights, turn signals, power windows, radio, all work. All of the original glass still intact and in nice condition as well. The body fairly straight, the paint is oxidizing having no dents along body, but having some rust issues with blistering in the lower quarter region, lower door (drivers), mildly around the hoodlip, driver's cowl and outer rocker areas. Please review the photos below of the aforementioned areas. Also, the floors underneath are undercoated and appear to be solid. The power brake booster does need to be rebuilt as the diaphram is most likely dry-rotted. The A/C compressor was missing when I purchased the vehicle however, the suction and fill lines are still underneath the hood. This car is a very respectable builder car, a good car that runs and will drive. Once again, I wish that I could get around to restoring this car back its originality, but I must unfortunately sell, so my loss is your gain. This car has potential! Best of Luck to the winner and Happy bidding to everyone. Please contact me should you have any questions regarding the 1963 T-bird.
