1968 Other Makes

Solex moped/motorized bicycle.Built in France by the folks who made Solex carburetors (and other stuff).I really don't know much about these in general (or this one in particular).It seems to basically be complete and the guy I got it from said it ran a year ago and has been inside since then.I have not tried to start it.Sold as is to LOWER 48 STATES ONLY.NO TITLE,BILL OF SALE ONLY,(though I don't think you would need one?).Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer or I can deliver to Mid Ohio in July at the AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days event for a nominal fee.Payment would be made at auction's end.Call or email Steve with questions.Thanks for looking. PLEASE NOTICE:The guy who won the auction for this bike a few days ago has decided to back out.I'm not really sure why,but I am relisting it.Also since the original listing,I have been contacted by a guy who obviously knows these bikes quite well.He says this is a '74 prototype.He said the addition of a headlight and other items was done by a company in Ohio to bring them up to U.S. "street Legal"standards.He also said if the winning bidder wants to contact him,he will be glad to offer any other info or help.
