1940 Ford coupe California car that has been in storage since 1971.Old school Hot Rod. The car was put into storage by previous owner to "fix it up". That never happened . The interior was removed along with some other misc. parts before they lost interest in the project .The drive train consists of a 327 Chevy with a Muncie 4 speed trans and an Olds or Pontiac rearend. The motor appears to be frozen, I don't know if it is from sitting or if it had a problem in the past. Maybe some marvel in the cyls. would free it up. The trans shifts in and out of all gears but that is all I know about that. The rear end is GM and I think Olds or Pontiac with old traction bar set up. Very nice and solid body with minimal rust that can be seen in the pictures. The floor below the back windows (marked with tape), a small amount in the tool tray and a small spot on the passenger rain gutter. The quarters, doors, etc. look very solid as you can see in the pictures. What you see in the pictures is what is included with the sale. The interior and some other misc. parts are missing and not included. If you don't see it in the pictures it does not come with it. The title was lost over the years so the car is being sold as-is where is with a California bill of sale and no title is included. The factory VIN number is clearly stamped on the frame, and should be no problem to request a new title. Please ask any questions you may have before bidding and good luck.
