1994 Ford F250 Turbo Diesel Extended Cab Long Bed 4X4 The Good This truck runs great, lots of power. Upper end of engine rebuilt about 20,000 miles ago. Accessories work, AC blows cold. Decent tires, near new on the rear, center line wheels. I have the clear title in hand. The Bad It needs some TLC: minor leaks, small spots in the driveway. minor tears in the drivers seat and console. Crack in upper left corner of windshield. Rust spots around front fenders. Rear fuel tank supposedly doesn't work per the previous owner (I never tried it for fear of having to prime a diesel injection system if it should run out of fuel). The left front speaker cuts out at times. I bought this truck from a guy in New York five years ago. Although he never mentioned it, I think this was his work truck. The bed has been replaced and painted to match, I suspect it had a utility bed at one time. Also, the springs (especially the front) are sagging probably from carrying heavy loads a lot. I put oversized tires on it, and because of the spring sagging, there is some rubbing on turns. Since I've had the truck, I've also noticed an occasional torque-converter shudder which I was told was not a serious issue and was common. This truck starts easily, even in cold weather. I have taken it on several long trips with no problems, and wouldn't hesitate to do so again. The truck isn't very pretty, but is functional, including the 4 wheel drive. I could fix it up and sell it for more, but don't have the time due to having too many projects started and not finished. This vehicle is also up for sale locally, I reserve the right to end the auction early.
