Up for bid is a 1965 Rambler American 2 door coupe. Car has been sitting in garage for 16 years. Mileage when parked 33,107. I am in the Palm Springs , California area. You will be responsible for towing ect. Car does not run, was running when it was parked. Dropped gas tank to clean but it was never reinstalled. Engine just needs to be gone through, needs new paint and upholstery. Wouldn't take much to get everything going but i don't have the time nor the resources to get her going. As far as i know, the car has only had 2 owners. Everything is original, the hubcaps, the engine 232, the owners manual, the original jack ect. Great project car, everything is there and original. Note, I have pink slip in hand, so that will make this alot easier, like i said before, she needs tlc, interior needs new kit but she's not so bad that a good mechanic and a few hundred bucks could get her goin again. All the trim is there as far as i can tell. she is an original California car and has never left state. Brand new tires on rear axle. Only have one black plate, not sure where other is, but it may pop up. No reserve. I reserve the right to end listing early since I do have ads in multiple classifieds. Thanks for looking On Jun-27-11 at 19:09:12 PDT, seller added the following information: Hi, just to let you know, I noticed in a couple of pictures that the hood doesn't seem to match her lines, such as the direct front pic, this is because i just rested the hood down and did not shut it all the way! Her lines are amazingly straight in the front, i have had multiple compliments from people who have seen her in person. They can't believe she's so straight in the front given her age. It's true and very cool to just stare at. Just thought i would let you guys know. Hope this helps, TY
