Description This is being re-listed due to a non-paying bidder. PLEASE do not bid unless you intend to purchase the vehicle. You are looking at a nice original 1973 Corvette 4 speed that has been barn stored for a very long time. It is cosmetically in great shape for the year of automobile but does have it's issues. It is a repaint years and years ago and the color to be original (952 Bright Yellow). Scroll down and view all 150 + photos. The title is also clear. The car that has not been hit that we can see, but the frame needs to be welded or replaced due to rust. it also appears to have the original engine and intake based on the numbers on the engine pad (see photos). We are unsure, but do not believe the carb to be original. We also do not know if the cam or other engine components are stock. In the past 25 years, it has been stored much of it's life and has not been driven. The period correct ghost flames are a nice touch, but can be buffed off (not clear coated that we could see), but are unsure how well and will leave it to the next owner. What does the car need? While it runs, it runs rough and needs at least a tune up. The car frame needs to be welded or replaced with a good used one as stated, due to rust. The brake and fuel lines which are probably shot. We have it running on a gallon bottle of gas under the hood. It has no brakes and we have not tested the clutch aside from pulling it in and out of the garage. The interior carpet needs replacement and seats need to be recovered. The rear tail light lenses and wheels are not original, and it needs a replacement front bumper. The radio is not original but the CB mike is there. The front license plate bracket is also there. Make no mistake that the car is not road worthy or drivable and will need to be trailered. The good news is that the paint is nice except for the spots shown, the tires are older but literally have no wear and all match. the car is very original and warrants a good used frame, which should be cheaper than a paint job these days. This is a great car to start with, and the 1973 Corvettes are destined to be classics in our opinion given the single year design. The battery is also brand new and the glass is good. The body is pretty straight with the exception of the one minor fiberglass repair shown in the photos. The rest of the wheel wells appear to be damage free. The bird cage also looks much better than the frame and other corvettes we have seen. Please see our standard terms and conditions below.
