Jeeps like this one don't come on the market very often. Don't miss it! Up for auction is my rare Marine Corps version of the Willys Millitary Jeep M38A1. Original delivery to the Marine Corps in 4/53, it under went a full restoration some years ago by a top Texas restorer and is absolutely a complete vehicle, just as it is was delivered in 1953. It includes the complete canvas set, including the top, side curtains, doors, top bows, and all appropriate brackets and straps. The rear seat in in place and held by all of the proper brackets. It is correct and complete! It drives like it should and has just had a complete clutch replacement. What the vehicle needs is a nice complete paint job and it would be an outstanding example of the Marine Corps M38A1. Odometer shows 7349 miles at the time of the listing. That is most likely the mileage since restoration was completed. Has nos front bottom seat cushions and pans. The tires are the correct and original 7:00 x 16 Cooper Cross Country military tires w/ tubes. It is currently liscensed and insured. Vehicle, title, and bill of sale will only be released after funds are cleared. It will be inspected before the auction is complete or before delivery. Can deliver within 300 miles for $1 a mile one way. Otherwise, buyer will be responsible for all shipping costs and handling. Please let me know if there are any questions that you may have.
