Up for sale is my 2007 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible with 3LT interior package. If you are looking for a sweet convertible for this summer that gets a lot of looks as you're driving it, this is the one for you. This car is in immaculate condition and only has 12,589 actual miles on it! It does have a "prior salvage" designation on the title and I'll explain more about that below. I love this car and have owned it for 2 years. But in those 2 years, I've only put 2k miles on the car - I just don't drive it like it should be driven and enjoyed. So, it's time for it to go to another home where it will be loved, enjoyed and driven like it should. But, don't let that scare you away because it is immaculate and the minor repair that was done was performed by a GM certified dealership. I am the 3rd owner of this car. The original owner of this Corvette was an attorney in New York state. They had their office in the city and not long after the car was purchased and while it was parked on the street, a taxi cab damaged the passenger door. Since the owner was an attorney, they sued to get a brand new Corvette. The gentleman I purchased this car from, purchased it directly from the insurance company and had the damage repaired. When the title was transferred to Iowa from New York, the "prior salvage" designation was added to the title. The repair consisted of a new door skin on the passenger side of the car. An excellent job was done on the repair and since it was done at a GM certified dealership, they were able to match the paint to perfection. I have a friend who is a body mechanic and even he couldn't tell the car had ever been damaged. That is how good this car looks. The only blemish on the vehicle is on the passenger headlight - there are some swirls in the plastic. I took a picture of it, but it is even hard to see in the picture. This car has always been garaged and has never been smoked in. It has been maintained very well and I just took it in to our local GM garage for an inspection and oil change.
