First up is my 1961 Caddy Coupe. This is one of several projects that I will be liquidating over the next couple of weeks. This is a running project. It has a 390 engine and automatic trans. Exhaust is good, has an small leak at manifold, but mufflers and tail pipes are good. Brakes have been redone a couple of years ago, but has been sitting for the same length of time. So, has brakes. system complete, may need some adjusting. Motor runs well and trans also runs well. All glass is good except for small crack at bottom of passenger rear. All chrome pieces are present and in decent shape. Front floors will need to be patched on driver side and maybe replace on passenger. Rear seems to be okay. Trunk is solid. Bumpers are okay with some pitting but no rust through except one small spot on rear bottom, maybe the size of a 50cent piece with small dent. Otherwise in pretty good shape for a 50 year old caddy. Body is in better than average shape with very little to do. The car was painted recently and looks pretty good. Definately will get you started as a driver. Very little needed to be done to the body as there was only surface rust here and there, no dents, and no evidence that it had ever been wrecked. I purchased this car about 5 years ago because of the year. I have stored the car since and have only driven it a couple of times locally. Interior will need to be redone. All panels are present but seats, carpet, and header is all shot. This is a air condition car. Never tried to get it working but is all there and hooked up. I do have the hubcaps that came with the car. Tires are dry rotted and deflate after a couple of days. Car is sold as is with no additional warranty. This is a 50 year old project, but a real decent one. Will need total restoration to achieve the status and return on investment it deserves, or you can put a little extra money in it and make it a cool driver or customize it and make it funky! THE FINS... WINS...! NOT A LOT OF THESE AROUND... Ask any questions before you bid or buy. Car is also for sale locally and auction will be stopped if car is sold before auction ends. Car will need to be trailered as it has not been on the road for a while and should be gone over before driving distances. I currently drive it around the block and sort but it has not been registered and so it sits. I will assist with loading on trailer as it can be driven on.
